Dr. Alagumurugan has over 20 years of experience in developing innovative generic formulations for Global markets. He has a strong expertise in developing complex, difficult to develop and first to file parenteral as well as solid oral formulations and successfully filed 70+ ANDAs. He started his career in 2002 with Zydus Cadila followed by successful stints at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hospira India and Cipla.
In his latest association with Cipla, Dr. Alagu has developed more than 30 new products and filed more than 25 ANDAs in a broad range of categories notably Injections (Liquid Injections, Lyo formulations, Liposomal and Suspensions), Nasal sprays and Inhalation solutions.
At Maiva, he will head the R&D and technology transfer functions. He will drive New Product Development and oversee strategic research projects that involves development of new processes / technologies.
